Minco ok funeral home6/30/2023 ![]() ![]() Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Edmond, with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery. The family thanks Pastor Ted Kersh, Carol and Kenneth Crouch, Wathena and Charlie Spencer and her many friends for their love and support.Ī private visitation will be held for family. She is survived by 1 great grandchild, Micah Stoltz. Michelle is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, Billie and Sammie Fite, Kallen, Kora, and Koen Fite, Kecia Stoltz and Caleb and Adam Skinner. She is survived by her husband Roger Fite of Edmond Ok, her sons Troy Fite of Edmond, OK and Lance Fite of Alamo, CA, and her brother Kevin Morris of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Bobbie Morris, and step daughter Sherry. Her ability to continue to live life and pursue the Lord during this time was a testament to the person that she was. Michelle was diagnosed 15 years ago with a rare autoimmune disease in her liver. She touched countless lives over the last couple of decades through Precept Ministries and BSF. Her real passion was teaching the Word of God. She was always working on a project sewing something for her friends or family. For a number of years, she did freelance sewing work. During this time, she would take on many different roles and projects from being a stay at home mom to working for a few years as a teacher at Oklahoma Christian Schools where Lance and Troy attended high school. She always wanted it to convey a sense of welcome for anyone that would come by. Michelle raised them with love, passion, and discipline while displaying what it means to love and follow Jesus Christ. She also had a step daughter in Sherry Jo Fite. Michelle and Roger moved to Piedmont, OK where they had 2 children, Troy Daniel Fite and Lance Alan Fite. Michelle married her first and only love Roger Fite on August 4th, 1978, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She attended college at Central State University after transferring from the University of New Mexico. Michelle was an exemplary singer and went to state for her abilities. She attended school in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Planning ahead is a responsible, caring act that can reduce stress for your grieving. She was born in Minco, Oklahoma on July 6, 1956, to Doyle and Bobbie Jean Morris. Michelle Fite went home to her Lord and Savior in heaven on May 27th, 2022. ![]()
